Poem based on the Painting "Terrible Winter"

Delicate snow flakes heavenly glisten
Embracing ancient wood tenderly
Frail branches sickly tickle the belly of the sky
Reaching for gods backyard to avoid the frigid snow
Yearning to leap from its Earthly shackles
Away
To the hallowed halls of the Sun
Sickly sweet yellow sun tendrils caress woody appendages
Nirvana reached
Blissful awakening from Earth bound slog
