Tribulation

By Ari Neville, Block: D, English 10

25 individuals waited nervously for ideas on how to survive in this disaster zone. What would they eat? Where would they live? Is it safe to go outside? How would they help the wounded? These questions popped into the 25 survivors minds like popcorn. Tired of waiting for others to take action, a small boy hurriedly started collecting pieces of wood, torn off recently demolished nearby buildings. The rest of the group joined suit. Soon a large pile of wood and various other building materials amassed in a large crater. Just days before, almost all of humanity had vanished. This pile of wood was the beginning of the rebuilding of society. Hope.
